ボビー・ポイントン Robert Poynton (Bobby)

イリノイ州シカゴ出身。ラジオ、テレビなどのコマーシャルで活躍した後、ソープ・オペラ「デイズ・オブ・アワー・ライブズ(DAYS OF OUR LIVES)」に出演して人気を得、デトロイト交響楽団のメイン・ボーカリストになる。「屋根の上のヴァイオリン弾き(FIDDLER ON THE LOOF)」,「キャンディード(CANDIDEL)」, 「DEATH OF SALESMAN」, 「ロミオとジュリエット(ROMEO & JULIET)」などのミュージカルを中心にしたステージ経験がある。１９９０−１９９５年まで、ザ・レターメン（ＴＨＥ　ＬＥＴＴＥＲＭＥＮ）のメンバーになっていて、１９９２年と１９９４年に日本全国のコンサートツアーにメンバーの一人として来日しています。その後１９９８−２０００年まで、ＴＨＥ　ＣＲＥＷＣＵＴＳ　に在籍し、２００１年から現在は、ザ・ダイヤモンズ （ＴＨＥ　ＤＩＡＭＯＮＤＳ）の一員として活躍しています。

If you are receiving this email it is because I thought you　might be remotely interested in my new web page. Now don't get too excited; it's my first effort in designing a web page for myself. Consider it a work in progress. Hopefully, you will find some fun pics or other info that you might regard as useful in some capacity. There are very few bells and whistles, but I hope you enjoy it all the same. In the future I hope to add music clips and video, but that will all come in time. Just a quick note to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! I am looking forward to seeing many of you during The Diamonds "Silver Bells and Diamonds" Christmas Concert tour. We begin tomorrow in Lorain, Ohio and will be doing 24 shows in 21 days; quite a daunting task! Make sure to say "hi" if you do visit one of the concerts. The launching of the new web page has gone extremely well. Many of you have given some great suggestions that will be incorporated into the site in the new year. Keep an eye out for exciting announcements concerning new offers and tour information in the upcoming weeks. Be safe and happy during this holiday season,

Thank you soooo much once again for taking the time to honor me and the Diamonds with your web site. We are currently in Florida touring and have may concerts scheduled for the new year. Unfortunately, we do not have anything on the books for Japan yet. Let's hope that changes soon. I would love to come over once again and see all my old friends in Japan. I should have the new solo album ready in a couple of months. As soon as it is finished, I'll let you know.
