This morning at 8:29 a.m., Callie Irene Poynton entered this world by the grace of God and the tremendous courage and strength of her mother. Callie is 8 lbs. and 20.5 inches long, with a FULL head of jet black hair! She began breast feeding with very little effort and has already gone through numerous diapers... She can hit a high C with no effort whatsoever and and seems to be able to interlock her fingers for a perfect golf grip... Momma and baby are sleeping as I write this and both are very deserving of an excellent night of rest.
I can't wait for you to meet her.
